Kanye West e Jay Z - Watch The Throne

“If "Liftoff" isn't a chart hit within the next year, I'll be surprised. Jay-Z and Kanye get downright triumphal over synthesized fanfare à la West's "All of the Lights," and Beyoncé's anthemic hook is the type of thing that makes radio programmers go weak in the knees. Huge.”

Entertainment Weekly.com
“Simply put: Throne proves to be a masterpiece. No exaggeration.”

MTV.com
“Throughout the album, Yeezy holds his own when rapping alongside Jay-Z, a lyricist of the highest caliber.”

Billboard
“The songs were dramatic and boastful, with Jay-Z often taking the lead lyrically, and the collection showcased the differences between the two artists - Jay-Z, the technical marksman, and Kanye, the emotive chest beater.”

BET.com
“if there’s one thing that both Jay-Z and Kanye can’t escape, even with all their worldly experiences, it’s the ability to motivate people with their music”

AllHipHop
“Overall, Watch The Throne is one of the most interesting pieces of Hip-Hop I've heard in a long time…Through it all, it’s very cool to see Hip-Hop artist evolving creatively. Fearlessly.”

GQ.com
"Otis," one of the most purely soulful songs the two have ever made together, features a pounding sample of Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness" up front. A clear standout and the first one I wanted to hear again.

Vibe.com
“The expectations for this album are insane. And if Jay and Ye delivered the Holy Trinity of rap records people would still find flaws. But they do this for the culture and the record isn’t done yet. What I will say is I heard some great material last night. And goodnight.”
